Israel Part 1

One of the first things you'll also see in this video is modern day Jericho and the monastery overlooking the city, as well as the ancient remains of Bet Shean, and Capernaum, along with Tiberius, and Tabgha situated on the Sea of Galilee. 

In Nazareth we visited the beautiful Basilica of the Annunciation. In one of the pictures a nun is kneeling facing the cave / home believed to be the place where the Angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would conceive a son and call Him Jesus. This is also the area where archaeologists uncovered a large stone wine vessel, (Ray Massengill standing beside), similar to those we read about in connection with the first miracles of Christ turning water into wine. 

The dome shaped church surrounded by the Palm trees is the Church of the Beatitudes situated above the sea of Galilee. 

The gray stone church is the Church of the Multiplication, where Christ Jesus prepared breakfast for his disciples after his resurrection, (John 21).
